My name is Delwyn Stafford.
Personally, I have two kids born eight years apart— so I’m experiencing the “joy” of back-to-back teenage years. As a gamer I enjoy spending hours with my family playing Open World games together. In my free time, I unwind with crafting, reading or crocheting.
Professionally, as the founder of G-Whiz, I enjoy building long-term relationships with my clients and seeing them thrive. I focus on helping small service businesses simplify their bookkeeping with QuickBooks Online. And because bookkeeping doesn’t have to be boring, I share a daily dad joke for some fun!
I am passionate about helping small service businesses simplify and succeed. I founded G-Whiz to empower small business owners to gain control over their finances and achieve peace of mind, knowing their accounts are organized, audit-ready, and compliant.
With over 20 years of experience and a certification as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, I’ve worked closely with small service businesses, often as the right hand to my boss, handling everything from office management to accounts. It was just the two of us, and I loved seeing my bosses prosper while I managed the critical details that kept their businesses running smoothly. This experience showed me the unique pressures and triumphs of small service businesses and sparked my passion for supporting them.
G-Whiz was also inspired by my own journey balancing work and family, especially in the face of life’s unexpected challenges. When my husband and I relocated from Ballito to Kempton Park for his job, we had planned for me to work half-day to be present for our children. However, shortly after the move, he was retrenched, and I became the sole breadwinner, supporting our family for the next eight months. This experience highlighted the importance of financial resilience, and it’s why I am dedicated to bringing small business owners the relief and clarity that comes from well-managed finances.
